A hilarious incident recently took place in Scheveningen that will remain a topic of conversation for a long time. A drone, which was recording the coastline, was brutally attacked by… a seagull with an attitude!

The seagull, clearly not pleased with the uninvited guest in its airspace, ruffled its feathers and began an epic aerial duel. The drone, a high-tech toy from a local hobbyist, had no idea what was in store for it. At first, the seagull circled its prey like a muscular boxer, seemingly looking for the perfect moment to strike.

Then the attack began. With the speed of a rocket and the precision of a ninja, the seagull dove again and again at the poor drone. Peck! Peck! The drone swerved through the air like a drunken dancer at a wedding, desperately trying to dodge the attacks. At one point, it looked as if the seagull was performing an impressive aerial choreography, complete with loops and dives, as the drone frantically tried to escape.

The drone’s owner, who had been watching the scene with wide eyes, had by now gathered an audience of curious beachgoers around him. Laughter and cheers filled the air as the drone zigzagged desperately back and forth, as if in a scene from an action comedy. “It was like watching a live nature documentary from the Benny Hill Show,” one onlooker joked.

After a few minutes, which felt like hours to the drone owner, the seagull decided it had had enough. With one last bored look and a majestic turn, it flew away, leaving the drone with only a few scratches and a lot of adventurous stories to tell.

The drone owner sighed with relief and inspected his surviving gadget. “Well,” he said with a grin, “next time I’ll bring a scarecrow!” The crowd burst into laughter, and the drone, now a local celebrity, returned safely to the ground.

And so a day in Scheveningen ended with a story that will certainly be told many times, about a brave drone and a seagull with a mission.
